Dr. Joshua Benjamin is a seasoned geriatric psychiatrist with over two decades of experience. His career began in 1999 after completing his residency in Calgary. He's been a steadfast advocate for older adults, serving as both inpatient and outpatient psychiatrist. Dr. Benjamin's dedication to mental health and neurocognitive issues is evident in his past role as the medical lead for the Alzheimer's and Dementia Resource Clinic. He's also served as Clinical Medical Director for inpatient geriatric psychiatry at Rockyview Hospital and the Geriatric Mental Health, Rehab and Recovery Unit at Glenmore Auxiliary Hospital. Currently, Dr. Benjamin currently serves as Chief of Geriatric Psychiatry in Calgary's Department of Psychiatry, shaping the future of geriatric mental health care and earning respect in the community.
