Specialized physiotherapy at ACHA is designed to promote health and wellbeing with specific focus on the unique needs of aging adults. The goal is to help our patients return to their optimal level of function, whatever that may be. The first step is using tailored, 1 to 1 assessments for:

Elisabeth is a highly skilled and experienced physiotherapist with nearly 20 years of dedicated service in the field. Throughout her career, she has been committed to helping individuals regain their physical strength and mobility, enabling them to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives.
Elisabeth completed her Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Therapy (with distinction) at the University of Alberta in 2004 after completing a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology (Honours, Co-op) from the University of Waterloo.
As a life-long learner, Elisabeth has pursued enhance skills including: advanced manual and manipulative therapy, acupuncture, Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation, vestibular assessment and treatment as well as concussion management. In addition to these specialized courses, Elisabeth has completed several workshops and seminars on topics such as chronic pain management, falls prevention, client centered coaching, advanced clinical reasoning and understanding dementia.
Over the years, Elisabeth has enjoyed treating clients in a variety of clinical settings including the Chronic Pain Centre, private practice clinics, private home care, and the Geriatric Day Hospital. Her extensive experience has allowed her to treat a wide range of conditions, from musculoskeletal injuries to neurological disorders to physiotherapy for falls.
Elisabeth believes in building strong relationships with her clients, understanding their unique needs, and tailoring treatment plans accordingly. Her compassionate and empathetic nature has earned her the trust and respect of her patients and she continues to be a sought-after physiotherapist in her community.
Outside of work Elisabeth is a busy mom of three boys. She values staying active, loves
running, cycling and playing hockey and also enjoys engaging in a wide variety of hobbies.
